ボンビーワームシリーズのコンセプトは一貫して、“釣れる要素を、できるだけシンプルな形で表現すること。”
ハンドポワードワームがまだ高価な存在だった時代に、形状を極力シンプルにすることでコストを抑えつつ、
しっかり釣れる“ロープライスなハンポワ”を目指して開発されました。
■ 形状の特徴
⭕️ ゴカイなどの“ムシ系”をイミテート
⭕️ 左右対称ボディで前後どちらからでもフックセット可能
⭕️ 深いクビレ構造がアクションの起点
ボディ中央のクビレが、
・フォール時の回転を抑える
・微妙な揺れを生み出す
・フックセット時のわずかな曲がりによる“チドリアクション”を発生させる
という、釣果に直結する重要な役割を担っています。
動きは派手ではありませんが、
ナチュラルで違和感の少ないアクションが持ち味。
■ 名前の由来
前後どちらからでも使える左右対称設計。
そこから、小学生の頃の“貧乏削り（ビンボー削り）”の鉛筆をイメージし、
「ボンビー」ワームと命名。
ネーミングは賛否ありましたが、
いまでは10年以上続くロングセラーモデルとなりました。

Bon-B Worm Plus 30
A long-selling classic from LEVEL6.
The Bon-B Worm series was built on one simple philosophy:
“Express only the essential elements that make a lure catch fish — in the simplest possible shape.”
At the time of its birth (over 10 years ago),
hand-poured soft baits were still considered expensive and niche.
So the goal was clear:
Create an affordable hand-poured lure
without sacrificing real fish-catching performance.
Shape & Design Concept
Imitates worm-like and marine invertebrate profiles
Symmetrical body — riggable from either end
Deep center waist acts as the action pivot
That deep waist is the key.
It:
Reduces unwanted spinning on the fall
Creates subtle micro-wobble
Allows slight natural “irregularity” when rigged The action is not flashy —
but natural, stable, and quietly effective.
Why “Bon-B”?
Because you can rig it from either side.
The name comes from the old Japanese schoolyard trick of sharpening both ends of a pencil —
called “binbo-kezu ri” (poor man’s sharpening).
